A voice of the anti-political majority

About us

Why "Anti"?

We are the UK Anti Party - the UK's only uncompromisingly ANTI party! Why ANTI? Because we, and most of the population of the UK, are fed up with the attitudes, morals and practices of most other political parties. We abhor the lies, dishonesty, sleaze. We abhor the spin, disinformation, patronising obfuscation. We abhor the points scoring, the opposition for its own sake, the confrontation, the mindless antagonism, the lack of generosity. We abhor the egocentric power seeking and the vanishing respect for the public interest.

We will therefore, as a matter of principle, do the opposite of what they do. We are definitely, uncompromisingly ANTI all that!

How will that help us?

It probably won't! You will probably carry on voting for them. Because, it seems likely, your antipathy to their behaviour is less than your antipathy to the opposite. Which would, of course, explain why they are the way they are: you prefer them to be like that, even though you hate them for it.

But we offer you the opportunity to prove us wrong, if you wish.

Membership

Membership is free. Just send contact details to Membership Secretary.

Members have free access to the party's Web site, and receive occasional e-mail communications. However, without funds we cannot spend money. For an annual subscription of £10.00 you get onto the mailing list, and receive copies of all publications. Higher subscriptions are welcomed, because we have no other source of funding, and £30.00 a year is the recommended payment from active members.

Honours

For a suitable fee we guarantee to consider members for honours when we come to power. Fee scale available on application. This is a once-off fee, and remains valid for the lifetime of the donor. However, we cannot guarantee that all registered Honours Members will be granted the honour of their choice.
